The most famous and planted nectarine. Early cultivar which is taken as reference variety for both early ripening time and characteristics of the fruit: big, yellow flesh, firm, great flavor.

Tree: Vigorous tree with semi-upright carriage.

Flowering: Medium-early blossoming period. This cultivar could be sensitive to spring frost.

Maturation: Early ripening time, in our area in Italy about 8/10 July.

Fruit: Big fruit (caliber AA-A), round shaped. The skin is intense red all over the surface, on a intense yellow background.

Taste: Well-balanced, sub-acid taste. Very good. Yellow very firm flesh.
